I don't think it shows in my area. :(

Would imagine it is hard to do unless you make homemade gifts with materials from here in the US. One store I liked because they touted in the past, I believe, made in the USA -- Woolrich -- now this year had very little items that were so.

Well, its best you didn't see it. It wasn't what I thought it was going to be. It ended up being more like a young Chinese student's home-made movie. He lives in the U.S. with his Chinese immigrant parents. I wasn't quite sure what his point was.

On that note, my brother has found a store where almost sold is made in New England. So, except for a Wall Drug mug that he picked up on his latest round of camping across the country, he gave us all only New England made Christmas gifts. Lots of maple syrup! Yummy!

We were very successful in having a holiday celebration without China. Each young adult received one gift from me & one from their Dad. Mine were from local merchants. Their Dad's was a Kickstarter.

Then we we went to a play, and had dinner here: http://tomdouglas.com/index.php?page=serious-pie

Simple, elegant, fun, and an entire day enjoying each other's company.

Interesting, though not what I was expecting.

I shopped for Christmas presents at all local merchants, small family owned businesses.....and I found that 99 percent of the items they sold in their lovely stores were made in China. What a disappointment! :(
