I bought some frozen Kroger apple juice to make a holiday drink, and guess what.......it was "made in China". I didn't look at any label, since I had never seen frozen fruit juices come from there.
Dang. I'm throwing it out. :(

Wow. Now I'm going to check all my juice bottles.

Do stores in your area carry Tree Top brand? They use only Washington apples.

Martinelli's is another good brand, only U.S. apples, when I heard that my respect for them grew (the sparkling cider was already plenty tasty though I only drink juice occasionally). Mostly known for that, they also sell wonderful regular apple juice/cider, nothing frozen though.

I think I was going for the cheapest at the moment, which was the Kroger brand. I'm going to have to write a letter to them. Now I know to start checking the frozen juice labels too. Guess I have to check the labels on all foods now. Funny....one of the meats I buy has on it "This beef was raised, grown, processed and packaged in the U.S.A." .....which makes me relieved (if you can believe what they write........)
I've seen several food items that have made "Made in the USA" bigger than it was before. I think all foods should say, in big letters, where it was from...........but you know that's never going to happen.

I could probably take these back to the store..........but I need to let the corporate office know how I feel, since the underlings are powerless.
