Capitalism vs. Socialism Simplified

I was having a discussion with a few friends and C vs S was the topic. One of the guys made a statement that I first thought was just way over simplified, but it opened up all kinds of discussion...



With capitalism the rich get powerful, with socialism the powerful get rich.

Pretty clever when you think about it.

All governments become oligarchies - which means those in charge will always eventually start consolidating power and voting themselves bread and circuses - very expensive bread and circuses.
