Student shot and killed at Purdue yesterday

I'm a 2-time Purdue alum, and don't live too far from the university. Yesterday, a 23 year old guy went into the Electrical Engineering building, in to a lab/class and shot a 21 year old teaching assistant. The shooter then left the building and gave up easily. Still waiting on if there is any prior connection between the two of them. Nothing has been said to that effect yet. So sad. :(

From what I have read elsewhere, written by recent grads of Purdue's engineering program, the victim.was a TA. Seems to have actually been disliked by a number of people. Witnesses have said the victim certainly seemed to be targeted, and that this did not seem random

I saw this last night on the news. The student that was shot was from WI. So sad.
