Tonight we tried one of her Indian recipes and it was really tasty. I also like the way she breaks down the cost of each recipe:

Ah, soon my stomach will be full of lovely chili seasoned roast vegetables and my wallet will sing. That is a nice mix, something I never make ahead, but the way she presents the costs is inspiring me to not only try this mix, but to do some more research and have mixes like this on hand.

I also like the sound of the white spinach pizza and the bean sliders. Yum.

I think what I like best is that the recipes are not complicated, and close to the basic cooking that I prefer.

Which recipe did you try?

Looks like really good recipes. Never heard of smoked paprika used in the lentil soup. Is that a new spice flavour?

Smoking long has been the way Spaniards have dried peppers for paprika (well, they call it pimentón).

Penzey's has sold it for some years now. It's not as prevalent as Hungarian paprikas.
