This is a very simplistic albeit well-intentioned, view of the problem, IMO. Jobs are important for families to succeed. The video doesn't take into account the benefits to shareholders or the fact that only a few large international companies own most of the assets and decisions and it is very difficult to know where a lot of stuff is made.
