I posted awhile back about DD's 2 year old cat. I said she was having breathing problems. Well, after finding a You Tube video, while searching for something like "Cat twitching".........DD says its exactly like that. So even though the cat had an xray which showed some pulmonary interstitial fluid and was treated with steroids and has a clear xray now, we're thinking more of a neuro-muscular problem.
I'm not saying that the two problems aren't related. Her vet (who I think isn't the sharpest guy) wants her to go to an internal medicine vet.
But.....my question is..........Have any of you encountered a problem like this with your cat? DD and I think she should just watch her cat for awhile, since she really has no other symptoms........and I'm sure going to a specialist could get very expensive.

Here's the You Tube video link that will show you what her cat is doing (but this isn't her cat).

I don't know a lot about cats, but if she were a dog and doing that, my first concern would be a back injury- looks like a neurological problem would in a dog. Again, if it were a dog, the vet would likely give a muscle relaxer, pain medication, and a sedative. Rest for 2-3 weeks, and no jumping, especially jumping down, would be recommended.

Too bad she doesn't have a vet she can really trust; good vets are worth their weight in gold.
