saved over 700 dollars over 2 years with a land line.

so i got an ad in the mail today from mediacom telling me i will save 471 dollars over 2 years by adding a land line to my plan, all for the value of 9.95 (not including tax, modem,shipping, using phone, etc.) a month for a two year contract.

so i added up the cost of the basic fee for two years which was about 240.

i then tore up the ad and threw it in the bin.

i saved at least 711 dollars just by walking from the mailbox to my recycling bin.

what a good day.

Ohh Ohh.....I've never had cable in my life! At basic a basic $29 a month I've saved thousands over the years.....too bad I have nothing to show for that, huh?

While growing up mom would take me on a shopping spree. On the way home she would always remind me, "remember dear, we tell your father how much we saved by shopping sales....not how much we spent."
