These lines will always make me think of 1977. My aunt from Massachusetts swung through Phoenix on a trip to the West and paid for me to see the Original Star Wars at the once famous Cine Capri on 24th Street and Camelback (at the time a very ritzy area). I was so amazed by this movie and the voice of Darth Vadar was really creepy, it gave me goosebumps. Rob
I'll always associate him with The Great White Hope.
Don't think it was a popular movie, but I enjoyed him in A Family Thing with Robert Duvall.
I recall going with my mother to see him in The Iceman Cometh on Broadway in 1973. Definitely made a huge impression on me. Such a powerful presence in a relatively small theatrical production space.
