Each year I spend some time to get ready for Thanksgiving holiday guests. Now that they are gone, my home seems so spacious. This is the time I usually spend bringing things back into the rooms from storage cubbyholes. In a few weeks, Christmas will be upon us. This year I want to take the between time to simply the spaces and declutter a little more. Anyone want to join me?
I am in for carving out some simplicity in this season. We've been decluttering quite a bit this past week since we have been home from our Thanksgiving trip. I've cut back on my pots and pans, since I had both my own set and my mothers, and reorganized the pots and pans cabinet. It's much more useable now. We're going on a three week roadtrip next week, so this week is our last opportunity to work on this for a while, but we are hitting it hard. Today we are taming shoes.
