That's not for one person to decide. And it's not really a question of ethics. It's a question of values and even a question of survival, and identifying the relevant threats, and then collectively determining the best strategies to address them. Many don't agree there is a threat to so many of things we hold dear.Quote:

We live in a rich country that can spend ungodly amounts of money defending shorelines and fighting wildfires, etc. Most of the people in substantially less wealthy countries won't be so lucky.

Maybe car pooling will make a comeback. Mass transit (the bane of my work life) can work for some. Clearly, though, mass working from home would be the very best solution.
