That is neat to experience, lucky you!
My rave experience today was using my electric snow thrower to move the 4" of fluffy snow that fell early this morning. I have a snow blower that requires gas and is heavy and awkward by comparison. The snow thrower is like using an electric mower - light, easy and quick. I bought it last year and found that the heavy wet or icy snow won't go through the single stage thrower so had to use the two-stage blower to my frustration and disappointment, thinking I had made a poor decision despite the excellent sale price. Today I know that it was worth it.
Razz: Good news - having appropriate equipment for different types of snow; Bad news - needing said equipment :)
My amazing DH fixed/replaced the light on the kitchen ceiling fan from parts he had in the garage!!! He does this all the time. It amazes me every time. Recently he also took apart the microwave and tightened all screws (?) and it now works fine.
I am jumping for joy!
Our architect-neighbor just knocked on my door to tell me our contractor will start work on our Hermann house in about four weeks. Yay yay yay!it’s also sweet that I have in my head preferred materials for cabinets and countertops because I’ve been keeping this Hermann project in the back of my mind while I choose materials for my condo.
My plan is to tell DH which cabinet material to use, which countertop material to use, and backsplash tile. Oh and stove! And then walk away. DH can do the rest of the work with the contractors because I just don’t care. DH does a nice job planning kitchen cabinetry anyway he’s quite experienced at it.
Congrats! That's so exciting, IL!!
I'm pleased that it's all coming together for you, IrisLily.
