It was a beautiful day today and our community had village wide garage sales. It was wonderful to be outside running around. We picked up a few nice things too!

Gorgeous day here as well. My laundry is on the line with the springflowers in full bloom.
A new neighbour offered me his deep maroon peony and the baseball-sized rocks from the bed surrounding it last night. He wants to plant a large palm tree instead that will be stored inside in winter. Another neighbour that helps me with odd jobs came over this morning to help move the rocks and the peony. He also helped me with setting up the two rain barrels, assembled the concrete birth bath, pumped up the tires in my wheelbarrow and the generator so I am set. It all took less than an hour for the two of us and he would only accept $20, albeit reluctantly at that. Love my neighbourhood!
Time to plant the marigold seeds in trays!

It was such a cool shop with delightful people and a wonderful selection of plants, but what I loved the most was that cat-friendly plants were labeled with little pink cat heads! So many popular plants are toxic to cats, some horrifically so. I thought this was the best thing ever!
