I was uncertain what European trade deals they have made in the past and the cancelation of them, but that seemed to be among the deal breakers on Trump's Greenland plans. I can also suppose Davo leaders noticed Trump's long rambling, offensive and sometimes incoherent speech as a warning not to trust a guy that's nutty as a fruit cake.
If there is a security threat to the US by China, it is largely due to Trump, not Greenland.
Left leaning major legacy media headlines read something like, Trump cedes global economic leadership to China.

Tybee that is HORRIBLE! It beggars belief, that this is happening here. It is hard to have faith in our government, and in our fellow humans right now. I sure hope that young man is sent back to his mother soon - but how many other horror stories are we not hearing about? And I wonder what will happen to the medical examiner in Texas who ruled the death of an ICE detainee a homicide? And how sick is it that one should worry about the fate of a person telling the truth that is not political expedient?? I KNOW, I fear, what will happen to the ICE employee/s who killed the detainee - NOTHING. Maybe a promotion.

the other bad thing about the injustice of what happened to this 18 year old boy is that the event may sow seeds of hate. This mild-mannered boy will be emotionally tainted for life. It sounds like he has a wonderfully sane mother, which should help ground him, but still...

Talked to son today and they are getting food to distribute to neighbors who are afraid to leave their homes! He said there is a neighborhood group (a 10 block radius) that has a site to help people. He said when he checked it yesterday, there were 600 people on it!!! He stated he is encouraged by the number of people speaking out against these atrocities and also the number stepping up to help! Hopefully, it will help get the terror-inflicting ICE out of their city!
