I was uncertain what European trade deals they have made in the past and the cancelation of them, but that seemed to be among the deal breakers on Trump's Greenland plans. I can also suppose Davo leaders noticed Trump's long rambling, offensive and sometimes incoherent speech as a warning not to trust a guy that's nutty as a fruit cake.
If there is a security threat to the US by China, it is largely due to Trump, not Greenland.
Left leaning major legacy media headlines read something like, Trump cedes global economic leadership to China.
