I think the fact that Bondi is asking for the voting records for Minnesotans shows that the real target here is the citizenry, not the immigrants. Both people who were killed by them were citizens.

I believe that the straight-out lies of the administration alone should put everyone on notice. I don't know how any true American puts up with the moral bankruptcy and outright corruption of this administration.
agree 1000 percent lol. maybe a bazillion-trillion percent. But way more than 100. 100% is for losers /sQuote:

I mostly OK with ICE as long as they don't use brutal tactics on innocent people, harassment of American citizens, departing people to brutal prisons, homicide and withholding shooting evidence from the public. And Lying. They operated without those things for a couple of decades and among other regimes before Trump V.2.
Given the estimated $300,000,000 to $1 billion in federal dollars fed into the Somali scams, it seems to me Minnesota may be kind of sloppy in administration of its programs, including those involving federal dollars. Let Minnesota give state money to undocumented immigrants all it likes. That’s fine, it’s Minnesota citizens making that decision. But not for federal programs.
So Biondi asking for for welfare program records, voting records, and etc. certainly is “intimidating” to Minnesota bureaucrats if they have to do that work and respond to record requests. But isn’t that their job as beneficiaries of federal dollars? An overall audit doesn’t seem unreasonable to me, even though I have little faith useful data will come out of it.
I wouldn’t be at all surprised if Minnesota is lacking in how it carries out voter registration. My favorite illegal immigrant, Dr. Ian Roberts, was registered to vote in the state of Maryland where he had a job just a few years ago. No, Maryland is not one of those states that allows non-citizen voter registration for a few local elections. The news of his Iowa arrest created calls in the Maryland statehouse for proof of citizenship when voting.
The people unlawfully here have impact on our society, both negative and positive. I think Dr. Ian Roberts is an excellent case study because he would have a fair number of defenders including many on this board saying “well he didn’t really do anything bad so he should stay” but did he? Did he do bad things? I mean, obviously he has a felony charge that’s related to guns but beyond that ?
I am concerned about loss of first amendment rights For US citizens. That is my primary concern and it does appear that street protests in Minnesota maybe causing some violations of first amendment freedom of assembly and etc.
I’m far less concerned about people here without legal authority to be here whether they are felons, criminals of other stripes, or squeaky clean contributing members of society.
They are gassing residential neighborhoods in Minneapolis with chemical agents.
