okay----today, i must resume my many unfinished projects, including some Yard Work!! Namesly, a pile of pine needles i intend ta rake up and compost. They kill the grass if you leave em, and i barely have enough ground cover, as it is. So yeah----will rake the entire front yard to "de-thatch" it, this fall, and throw some stuff on there to make the ground cover spread. Yup. Been lucky---did not have to mow very much, this year. Nope.

okay----i am still recovering from my trip ta Eastern Zurra and back safely, in spite of all the hazzards i encountered. On the way over, i stopped at a Loves Travelport(gas station) to top off my tank and ta get a coffee----which was $3!!!! So, in the future, i will be packing along a thermos. See? But anyway---at the Gas Station, there was a tour bus from Millersburg, Ohiowadaho, and the elderly passengers were lined up at the potty to empty their bladders. But yeah---they still have the needta get some miles in, even though they leave the driving to the bus company. Ha. I didn't get my hood unloaded offa the car till two days later, due to having to catch up with my furry companions, who missed me so much while i was gone. Yup.

okay----you kids will prolly think that i've become a car jock drive-o-holic, with the miles i got in the last few days. But yeah---thursday it was a trip ta Decatur, Il.(Land O Linkin) to pich up some salvaged El Camino parts, and then ta Ozark, mo. today to buy some surplus salvage autobodyt paint supplies. Stuff like that has gotten Xtra, Xtra pricey, so when you're a CASO(cheap ass Studebaker-Packard Owner), and you happen across a deal on stuff, go for it. So yeah---good stuff cheap. My furry friends(Emotional Support Animals) were glad to see mee arrive home. Yup.
-
okay---i may do some more car jocking(just get out and DRIVE!) in February by making a trip to Decatur, Texcess. But yeah---not ill-annoy, home o' Honest Abe, but clear down in Texess. Not ta see if i can gobble up a FREE 72 OZ steak in 1 hour or see the former Lubys in Killen(Yank Sing), but to the Decatur Swap Meet which everyone who amounts to anything attends. See? Not gonna sit-n-watch Carts sing yeah, yeah, mee-shell I wanna hold yo' haaaaand! Nope. I'll let you know in an update. Thankk mee. Yup.

okay---among other things, i acquired two gallons of Slick Sand and 1 Gallon of FeatherFill, all minus the hardener, which i can buy online. But yeah----got significant discounts on them. Isn't that wonderful? Yup. Update: I made another trip to the seller, and acquired 5 more gallons of featherfill and slick sand and a variant that makes it's own guide coat. The seller was having trouble getting rid of the last ones, due to product smeared on the cans due to a dropped case, causing a lid to come off(said can had already been disposed of), and buyers being unfamiliar with the new variant. So yeah---i got a deal on those and several varieties of bodyman-in-a-can, plus several cans of urethane base mixing color---black--which i can use on The Packard. So, that all helps, to have shop supplies at a discount. I had to look at some online tutorials about the distinction between slick sand and featherfill(which are the same brand), since i have used lots of featherfill, though not slick sand. Now i know. Yup.
-
okay----i was able to acquire a nice supply of hardener for my body shop supplies, since summa the stuff i bought did not include it. So yeah---that helps. Plus, another 14 or so gallons of thin-n-that body shop materials. They are all toxic and will at the very least burn your skin, so yeah---i needta stock up on rubber gloves like i used to when i was in the profession. Gloves, eyewear, ear plugs, and a shop apron. Yup.

Okay-----here's a couple of interesting things(see photos). So anyway---can anyone guess who the gentleman is? Clue: he did associate with an Epstein, at one time. Also, a lady got into a dispute over Ro-Chicks. (see photo). I prefer not to have anything to do with Ro-Chik, or Chik-fil-a or Chinese Food w/chik. But yeah--- Church Guys' Boy next door has pet chickkins' that sometime roam the yard, and they are very interesting critters. So why torment them?Attachment 6722Attachment 6723
