To add: oops, just had a small skirmish over bones.
I am done with the local grocery store nearest me. They either don't have the items in the ad or my digital coupons will not work from my grocery store card.
Talking to the store manager has gotten me no where.
Sending emails to the store's corporate offices has also gotten me no where. The person who responds is clueless despite numerous emails.
I am a person that has enough with the games this company is playing.
I can shop at another store that is further away without dealing with the problem.
19 Sandy, they don't have enough competition. Way too much competition here for them to not pay attention to the customers.
This is a small rural town, and they won't be getting more competition.
The store is really close to me too so I can walk there in 10 minutes.
There is no point in having digital coupons that won't work and then acting as if it is the customers fault either.
I have written a novel to the person in charge of customer service and it just isn't getting through to them that they have a problem with their computer system not working.
The cashiers have said I am not the only one but no one listens to them either. I understand that because I have been in that position in jobs.
That is why paper coupons are better, you have the things right in your hand to prove your point.
Paper coupons are rare nowadays though.
my father just got out of the hospital for heart failure (just to confuse the disabled nurse, it's not called congestive heart failure anymore but that's what he had). Anyway, he had a shit cardiologist for years and would never leave him. Today I went with him to my mom's wonderful cardiologist and my dad is sold on him. Raves and thanks to the new guy!
Took advantage of the NPS 100 year anniversary and went to Crater Lake today - for free! Absolutely astounding.
National Parks are free through 8/28/16.
Filled my birdfeeder this a.m. and later saw 4 wild parrots dining there - really beautiful birds and had no idea there were a few wild ones in our neighborhood.
Later drove in the car and was listening to "Appalachian Spring" on the local classical music station, which is playing audience favorites all weekend. Ended the Labor Day weekend at the casino buffet ($10.95) for my sibling's birthday. and as every story in my junior high newsletter seemed to end: "and a good time was had by all." :)
volunteering yesterday at the local school, I was able to read Peter Rabbit and Cows in the Corn ( very funny story with rhyming) to a group of first graders. I had forgotten how much joy reading aloud gives me.
my cars speedometers and other meters suddenly stopped working. It was right after I had been to the inside and out car wash so I thought maybe they disconnected a wire or something. So did the guy at the dealer so he said it would be $120 an hour labor plus parts. Crap!
He called today to say the whole thing is broken and under warranty. It will take 2 weeks to get the parts and it will all be for free and I get a free rental car. How often does that happen when you take your car in???? Yay!
