Nice shot, Bae. We live beside a river, and we've had a pair of these guys hanging around on a regular basis, causing much excitement in town. There was also a recent snowy owl sighting, but I've yet to see one of those myself.
Yes, we had a pair of bald eagles nesting in a buoy in the lake last summer, and one was actually just sitting on our lawn one morning!! It was so exciting! They are off the endangered list in VT.

Beautiful photo, Bae! Chuckling a little because last Saturday, I was excited seeing a rust tailed hawk perched on a redbud tree in my backyard with the strong wind ruffling its feathers.
