As I understand it, Hungary recently took over the rotating EU Presidency position and Orban has been on a "Peace" mission visiting other non-EU leaders. I believe he was in country for the NATO meetings and also met with Biden while here. Not sure why he visited with Trump although I suspect many world leaders are anticipating a changing of the guard in our government soon and are preparing to cozy up with the new guy sooner than later.Quote:

I think a lot of us just believe that innuendo and non-contextualized claims are not deserving of our attention. Rather than participating in that, why don't you tell us the real purpose of Orban meeting with Trump, Biden, Zelenskyy, Putin, Xi and other world leaders over the past couple of weeks and how that promotes fascism.Quote:

I wonder if Trump's brush with death will change his outlook on life and politics. I would think it could be a life altering event. One doctor told him the bullet was a fourth of an inch from being fatal. And one headline suggested divine intervention perceptions by his followers. Maybe the Evangelics will see this as a sign that he will lead us out of darkness and into the light.
