That looks a lot like my view to the west--wall to wall green!

I miss having a wooded lot. But I do have the lake. I'm cheating here--this is a picture from the same time last year--I wanted to take a sunset picture last night but it was too cloudy. But 9 times out of 10, the sunset is beautiful here. And 9 times out of 10 I'm out there with my camera.

Nice, all...
I miss having a western view of the horizon from my house. The way our house is oriented, my view is either north or south. And too many neighborhood trees to see much sunset.
My old, former house (which if I had been smarter, I'd have rented out instead of selling, hence would still own) was the cheapest view property in the county as it sat directly across from railroad tracks. But a wide western horizon overlooking a wildlife refuge. (smack my head, so many regrets)
They were slow to re-populate our area this year, saw our first one during the first week of May but now I see one or two just about every time I look out the window to our one feeder. They are mostly of the Ruby Throated variety with a few Anna's Hummingbird females thrown in. I'm watching a Ruby Throated male as I type this.
This is the view of the feeder from my favorite chair: https://scontent.fluk1-1.fna.fbcdn.n...hg&oe=62C04CED
I have a bit of lake view, too. It's better in the winter, natch.
Picking up my partner at the ferry dock at sunset this evening. Overcast, with the sun sneaking through now-and-then:

These are beautiful, folks!
I don’t think I can ever give you all a pretty sunset view of our own view in Hermann because the sun sets in the west, not on the horizon behind the view. And that is fine with me because I much prefer that my house face East, the garden faces East and all the plants get East sun.
Absolutely gorgeous!!
