I saw headlines trumpeting something like "Antifa Smashes Windows in Portland, Seattle" which puzzled me until I saw the anarchist graffiti in another article. So Antifa (which doesn't really exist as a thing) is getting the blame for anarchist destruction, which has been going on for decades around here. Note: an encircled A is the anarchist symbol. Hope that helps. :)

I agree with the guy who said Antifa is more of a stupid ideology than a stupid organization, although many stupid things are done in the name of this stupid ideology. Sort of like the Bronies of left wing extremism.

Or the whole thing may be a false front for Seattle glaziers.

I agree that glaziers are the primary beneficiary but suspect the false front is simply the result of liberal governance. Participants in ongoing violence and destruction gravitate to areas where that activity is excused and tolerated such as the progressive havens of Portland and Seattle. The broken windows theory makes a lot of sense.

And yet hundreds of thousands of people live happily in those cities. Housing prices have taken another leap lately.
I'm happy to live in a liberal stronghold, warts and all.
