About noise: this is so dumb its funny.

I set up a Zoom meeting last week, an important one for our organization During the meeting DH decided to tear into our dishwasher in the nearby kitchen because it wasn't cleaning properly. Banging, clanging during this meeting, but shortlived. And THEN he removed the bottom rack and set it on heavy duty wash, a long loud cycle. Aye, carumba!

Couldn't get away from the noise without going upstairs.

In the next 5 weeks I have 8 Zoom meetings and will have to clue in DH to please make no repairs during those times.sounds of sawing often come from our basement, too. These Are sounds I normally like because it means something is progressing, but not during meetings!

That’s why I wanted a condo on the top floor with a elevator. I will take the steps but when I have items I need the elevator. I bought myself a wire cart that I will keep in my car and put my items in to transport. The laundry room is on the first floor so will use it for that also. I am buying a apartment dryer that vents into a bucket of water and putting it in my second bedroom. Most of my clothes I hang to dry anyways. I will wash everything at once and then dry in my condo. L

Or more likely 7-10 yearolds dancing and chasing each other around. Most toddlers probably don't stay up that late, weigh that much, or wear hard-soled shoes indoors.

Steve, it was not toddlers upstairs. No kids at all. They quieted down about 945pm so I didn’t have to call the police.

I have a ground floor unit due to my knees.

I have a Versacart that I use every day. When the black version comes around again, I'll order a spare. One of the most practical purchases I have made.

I offered to buy my sister this kind of a cart to replace the old one she is using that is falling apart. Her response was,' When I find a cart that has larger wheels, I will order. Trying to navigate snow or other barriers like uneven road or walkways, sand, steps etc., with those tiny wheels is very difficult." That is what many parents say about the tiny-wheeled baby strollers.

I don't find the wheels too small, but maybe a handyperson could install bigger ones. As I recall, the wheels snap in.
I might be trying it out in snow one of these days; the mail is piling up.

I paid 20 for a similar metal cart at Walmart. Even if we get snow our sidewalks are clear and parking lot in the condo complex and I will use it to bring groceries and items to my condo from the car. I used one when I was 43 living in a condo. It sure beats making a bunch of trips carrying stuff.

Our condo has a cart that belongs to the building. You are expected to use it, and then return it to the stirage room.

I bought it at Academy Sports, but they're also available at Dick's and other sporting goods stores and on Amazon. Sizes (and quality?) vary so look around. The $44 one I got at Academy Sports has a rating of 200+ pounds and 6.5-inch wheels. Or you could go to a hardware or toy store and buy the traditional "little red wagon" which probably has 8" or 10" wheels.
