Scored some feta and spinach chicken sausages for $0.25 each a while back. I cooked some of those up along with some white rice and sauteed zucchini and baby bella mushrooms.
Oh Yum, NY!
okay---'case you kids decide ta make southernmost mo your drive-n-eat destination, here's this.....Yup.(see photo)
Swiss chard and bean enchilada casserole. One of those odd cooking experiments. I've not planted chard in the garden for a few years, possibly due to burn out. It is a big producer and so far have been used it in eggs, on pizza, and stir fry. It's a little rough for salads.
a successfully made two soups today with Evaporated milk. Now I’m going to freeze them and see if the evaporated milk is less likely to separate than regular milk.
Also made a big pot of split pea soup and will freeze that. Tomorrow making white bean soup in a tomatoe base.
I have a batch of sourdough that I think I'll make into rolls, then make some beans burgers/patties of some kind for dinner.
okay---i too, am having pea soup. Made with all-natural ingredients. Yup.
okay----it turns out that there's a downside to IWAH, which takes much pride in being so tidy and efficient in being a leading manufacturer of of yummy, awesome and amay-zeen meat. It has a few more lakes than you'd think, but evidently, they are pollutted by sewage from the meat manufacturing facilities, neatly tucked away in the countryside. (see photo). Now, you notice the wise-ass comment about the article about banning geese. Typical IWAH logic, there, with a cupful of denial. Yup. Hope that helps you kids, some.Attachment 6415
