I agree that you made a great choice; you cannot put a price tag on that shorter commute, but it is oh so valuable!

The job I took is also closer to my bf, which actually wasn't one of my listed or conscious criteria, I mean that might have been romantic, but career decisions are usually about practical survival level stuff (yea that's been too hard these last few years). But also.
