The CG doesn't use M60's anymore - changed over about the time I got out to something else (can't remember what) but some units still use both .50's and M60's together - or one or the other as part of their small arms weapons. I liked the M60's though - lighter and easier to use then the .50s. Even the little boats get them. Bigger ships get them plus more!
