It’s beginning to look like it might have been a medical issue. There’s usually a lot of scuttle butt going around if deaths were caused by something correctable (aka diver made a mistake and would have lived if he did something different). Nothing about that in this case.Quote:

My cousin died during his first dive in California, while his daughter tried frantically to save him. I never heard whether it was an equipment problem or a medical event. As you say, you never know...
