News today featured averages for gas at 3.89 for cash purchases. Diesel was about a dollar more.
Trump's appeal to our so called allies for miltary help to open up oil shiiping seems to be mostly rebuffed. No big surpise after the administrations verbal abuse and the excessive tariff game.
Gas is now $4/gallon. All the stations on my way home today showed it.
That's weird, I had no idea MAGA caused such high fuel prices in Washington State. I'll bet it's even worse in MAGA California!
That price is a couple dollars more per gallon than in my red state. Shoot, that Washington gas is even about $1.50 a gallon more than current prices on my red state diesel. I guess I just don't understand MAGAnomics.
It's $4.69 at the cheapest station on the mainland nearby, today. Two weeks ago-ish it was $3.69 or so there.
It's frustrating, since I can see the refineries the fuel comes from, from here.Quote:

Gas is $4.39 here. Went up 40 cents from this morning.

"My life fades, my vision dims. All that remains are memories. I remember a time of chaos, ruined dreams, this wasted land. Most of all, I remember the man we called Max, the road warrior. To understand who he was we have to go back to the other time. When the world was powered by the black fuel, and the desert sprung great cities of pipe and steel. Gone now, swept away. For reasons long forgotten two mighty warrior tribes went to war and touched off a blaze which engulfed them all. Without fuel they were nothing. They'd built a house of straw. Suddenly their machines sputtered and stopped. Their leaders talked and talked and talked, but nothing could stem the avalanche. Their world crumbled. Cities exploded. A whirlwind of looting and a firestorm of fear. Men began to feed on men."
