Ugh. That’s so sad to hear.
My peeve today. Internet at work went down more than an hour ago. I sit right by the server room. Appears to be something with power to the servers. No email, no internet, no phones. Nice and quiet! LOL. I have little to do without system. At least I got here early enough to get daily import duty report done and payments authorized before system web down. Went through the shipment report and wrote up files for upcoming shipments I’d not done yet, but I can’t enter them on the customs side as system down. One of the owners had to go home (he lives close) for a Zoom call.

I think Tradd is correct. He wasn't mistreated by society in the least. He had a career that he loved and that allowed him to keep working into his 80's. No one tossed him aside when he got to a certain age. The point of contention with the wife is that her husband was so concerned about how she'd be after his death that he literally worked until his death. The wife has gotten to do whatever she wanted when she wanted and it was paid for by someone else.
