I am looking forward to hearing your hit single, although I certainly don't want to wish a head cold and sore throat on you. :)

Well, I went to the ol' coin laundry, since the water well was down. But it helps me get caught up, by using their super capacity machines. The same people have owned the place since 1983! Anyway--it is next door to a pawn shop, so I went in to see if they had anything that I was in desperate need of, at a dirt-cheap price. Welllllll.........they had just gotten in a bicycle the day before, that got my attention, right away. After begging and pleading and crying and refusing to leave until they lowered the price, the co-managers---both guys weighing about 400# each---lowered the price to MY price, in order to just get rid of littlebittymee! You kids know how I am---obnoxious & irritating as a bad case o' poison ivy! Yup. Anyway, it is a totally useless bike & of course you kids would hate it. It is dirty and filthy and prolly been sitting in a storage unit for upwards o' ten years or more. It needs a thorough cleaning, and lubing critical points, and air in the tyres, just to ride! It is my size, too, after some adjustments. Even has 175mm crank arms. But, also needs pedals. But guess what? It is NOT what the Cool People would buy, nowadays. Nope. It is not an EBike, where you sit bolt upright on a big wide seat, so you can look all around for some cute little bistro to stop n' eat some yummy goodies, like gourmet pizza, after you ride 2 miles. . . Nope. This is a
(circa) 2004 Felt S 25 Tri-Bike. It is geared up so that instead of being EASIER to pedal, it requires MORE effort to pedal! Yup. It's got those handlebars---aero bars---where you are bent waaaaaay over! Doesn't that sound like fun? Felt Bike, has had some issues--a recall and a corporate reshuffle & buyout(s). But, they're still in business. The bike I acquired has a local dealer sticker on it, but that bike shop hasn't handled the brand in awhile---since the shop changed ownership & the new management ONLY handles Cool Bikes for Cool People; i.e. consumers who want to jump right on the latest trendy $tuff. See? But, leave it to littlebittymee to buy a nasty, dirty old bike from the pawn shop super cheapo that is HARDER, not easier & more comfterbal to ride! Ha. I would post a photo, but wait until I get 'er detailed out. You'll hate it, and of course it validates that I'm a fool. Ha. Hope that helps you some. Thankk Mee.
Okay---I know I will feel VERY disrespected, when some kid on an EBike passes me on my Felt, on the paved part of the Frisco Trail, just outside the city. Yup. Edited to add: Okay---I dug up this photo of a Felt like the one I salvaged from the hock shop. This'n has a smaller frame & different color, but otherwise...Attachment 4465
How about a picture of your mower.
That is one of the things I miss about my old place and working a bit less, reel mowing and a clothesline.
'Stuff, you doing OK? Ain't heard from ya inawhile. But yeah---there's no end to the amount o' mowing you can do in Zurra, if you're so inclined. But, I'm caught up for the moment. Ha. Just kidding. One o' these daysa, I'll post a photo of my walk-behind mower collection. No sense in getting a rider for my place; too many obstacles, IF you get my drift. Yes, there are plenty of people who acquire land, for the sole purpose of just mowing it, on an impre$$ive-looking rider! I'm no psychologist, like you kids, but there's GOT to be something wrong with people like that! Hope that helps you some. Thankk Mee. Edited to add: Yup---that's another project--a clotheline. There was one here, at one time. There's still concrete and the stubs from it, to use. So, yeah--one of these days.
I had a rider, I obtained from a relative, who had bought it after spending a year recovering from a medical issue. They hated mowing the lawn and I took care of that for them while they were down. They used it for one year and decided to just hire a service.
About 20 years later, I was given it (gas tank had leaked out, thankfully, long ago, bumped the hose off). New carb, replaced one tire, fixed the others (innertubes), new battery, oil change, blades sharpened, general cleaning and it was good to go.
70ish year old neighbor taking care of his daughters house on a hill, kept wanting to buy it from me and wouldn't just take it. Finally we agreed on just the cost of the parts and it made his life a lot easier. Passed up a couple project mowers (simple fixes) just do to no time to mess with them. Like to find another rider for someone with some medical issues and a couple acres. (they have a not so dependable service)
Only three walk behinds, (one at each house, and a new, much larger one for the new house, since some weeks are seven days of work).
Been looking at Youtube video's today when I knew I was getting dehydrated outside, of people who used bike parts and an old reel mower and electrified them. I was impressed in how they were much better in tall grass, but it did make me wonder about gearing them different, as the faster speed seemed to make the most difference.
Still the new house is about 4x the yard of the old house, may give the reel mower to whoever buys the old house.
Row V Wade. Well, if you got a boat, and the water is waaay over your head & you can't swim---Row. But, if your in shallow water, then by all means Wade. Ha. Hope that helps you some. Here's the deal, though. Listen to an ideologue, and then move on to a more reasoning approach. My theory is, the worst idea is forcing people to be parents. Second is: Do you want children as pets? Okay---I just saw this map comparison. I have several thoughts. What are your yours? Attachment 4467Attachment 4467
