I am so sorry to hear this Catherine.
Thank you, everyone. We're taking it one day at a time. What else can we do? He and my daughter are talking shop these days, which is a bit of a strange consolation actually, that they can understand and support each other in ways the rest of the family cannot.
The rant continues...
The family support group grows. My son just texted the family with the news that my DIL has cancer. Thankfully, she had the mammogram because of what she saw my daughter go through, so hers was caught even earlier and while she'll need surgery and radiation, hopefully she won't need chemo.
Oh, and BTW, my other DIL was hospitalized last month with pancreatitis and is having gall bladder surgery in December.
Gosh, Catherine, that is a LOT to deal with. As you support your family, hoping that you find solace and support for yourself, as well. It sounds as if you all are a pretty tightly knit bunch, but that's a lot of trauma for the entire group! You're in my thoughts. ((( )))
OMG! Too much! Sending positive vibes your way!
Oh, no, that is terrible, I am so sorry.
Catherine, I am so sorry and hoping for good outcomes for all your family members.
