Very cool, Tradd. That just looks like SO much stuff you have to swim/dive with.
Neat photo. So glad that you are taking us along with you.
Buddy and I yesterday. I was leaning to get into the picture. At my instructor’s suggestion, I sent the photo off to the drysuit manufacturer in San Diego. We’re very colorful underwater. :D

DoesThat thing really keep you dry
Yes, it does. As long as I lock my dry gloves on all the way, make sure the zipper is closed, and neck/wrist seals are not rolled or wrinkled. It’s a very good suit. Cadillac of US made suits. DUI has been doing drysuits for a long time in San Diego. The seals are sewn and then sealed with multiple layers of a hand applied glue/sealer. Cheaper suits just have taped seams. The seams on my suit model are warrantied for 7 years.
I take very good care of it. When I get home, it gets washed down as needed (boots, any stains, etc.) and I make sure the purple flames overlay is clean. Sometimes you get stuff on your suit when taking it off. Some of the overlay is light colored so I will scrub at any dirt with straight blue Dawn on a damp rag and that works very well.
I paid $4100 for the suit so I’m going to baby it.
That is nice gear!
