I will!
KU hospital. I have a HIGH pain tolerance. My relatives think TOO high. I had an 8 according to me about two weeks ago, and they say my 3 is their 7, so my 8, they'd be dead.
Symptoms made me think new tumor/more cancer, sent a note to Dr.'s office, got the call Thursday morning, GO TO ER, IMMEDIATELY. Told them I would have to call them back in a few as I had to figure that out (can't drive, mom had her Lumpectomy, sister had allergic reaction to med/stopped breathing). Brother could take me, B-I-L went as well.
Kidney blockage on one side, causing all kinds of pain. Haven't been out of surgery long, peeing out of two things now (cath on one side, normal on the other), getting watched and expected release tomorrow, changed (and somewhat forced) on pain meds which has made a difference.
TMS so sorry to hear this!
okay----much to my distaste, i'm involved in YARD WORK!! Storm cleanup, to be exact. But yeah--I'll post pphotos, maybe. Hope that helps you some.
YMS, so sorry for what you are going through! Hope this latest clears up, hope the pain meds help.
TMS..Sorry to hear you are going through this. Wishing you only the best…
Based upon how I have felt today and yesterday, being forced on pain meds, turns out may have been the best thing. Very low dose (and I don't have an addictive personality), but it has made me able to walk the floor both with and without a walker, go to the nurses station and quite a few other things. Hopefully one of the options they gave me, I won't need until EOL.
I'm glad the pain med is working for you, TMS! I hope it continues to give you some relief.
Omgosh, TMS! I hope you continue to have relief. That sounds terrible.
