Bye, bye East Wing. My standards would say a replacement of stateliness and historical architecture with gross opulence. It would appear that Trump rushed in the demolition crew quickly before anyone could discuss.

Well, I think it's a matter of scale and, frankly, taste. In an attempt to mark his territory at the White House with the biggest piss possible, Trump has destroyed an entire wing representing just a fraction of what he's buiding in a unilateral way-- dwarfing the White House with a 90,000 square foot gaudy, grotesque and architecturally discordant display of what I see as a castle only fit for King Midas. okay-----did you kids not see my photo of the demolished WEST WING o' the White House? That occured during the depth of the 1930's Depression, under the reign of King Franklin the Roosevelt, 4-term Monarch, who died in office, which ended his reign. Yup. The wing was rebuilt to accomodate an even more opulent "Oval Office", where his throne was located. See? Now, you can be doubly outraged and indignant. Thankk Mee.
