I received my curtains, and they were shipped from a Boston location, so no tariff add-ons. I also ordered some pottery texture tools from Etsy. They were shipped from Ukraine, but there was some type of customs label on the package that said tariffs had been paid, so I assume that was rolled into the pricing somehow.

PS: Every single time I write or type tariffs, I have to stop to think whether it's two "r's" and one "f," or vice-versa. Anyone else? Probably not you, Tradd!

She already yelled at me about misspelling tariff! Haha but I don’t hold that against her and I probably still won’t remember how to spell it.

Fortunately, it's one of those words which, if I spell it incorrectly, I can immediate see that it's wrong. Maybe it's because I read a lot, but I can usually spot pretty quickly when a word looks wrong.

Catherine: I've found it very interesting to see how many common English words have their basis in Arabic. It's not something I ever would have guessed.

Apparently there were Arab mathematicians who gave us Al-gebra, Al-gorithms, etc.

I think Tybee was the one who told me about the change in Canadian law that would allow me, with a grandparent born in Canada (came to US in 1930s and my mother born in US) to get Canadian citizenship. It was interim, but it's now part of Canadian law.
