Took four visits for us from AT&T to get reliable computer access. The first three could not find or fix the problem outside the house on the pole.
One (maybe more) of my neighbors is, by the sounds of it, tearing their house down and rebuilding it from the ground up, with lots of grinding, banging, trucks going in and out...Winter is over, let the noise resume!

Verizon, with whom I am chained at the neck for four more months, finally offered a rewards program to compensate for the millions they've taken in inappropriate fees. How nice. So! Attempt one: I checked my printer printed a test page, then printed off a discount certificate. For some reason the cert disappeared into the ozone and never printed, but Verizon said I'd used the cert and couldn't reprint it. Attempt 2: they actually had a nice restaurant coupon at a place we were staying!! ... except the restaurant decided the coupon was void for the entire holiday weekend - the valentines holiday weekend. Attempt three: actually worked: we saved $7 at a horrible restaurant where everything we tried to order was exempt from the discount. And tonight: drove 10 miles to one of those places that makes you wonder if you ought to get out of the car, only to discover they were closed when they were supposed to be open. Done, done, so very very DONE.
Smashed my left index finger with a hammer whilst cutting discs for my jewelry fabrication. Garrrrrr! Hammer slipped and my hand was in the wrong place. Instant icing, but I got a doozy of a blood blister!
The moving sale from hell. I don't even want to talk about it.
