The pantry looks really handy.
D-Son-iL just fixed my garden gate that needed adjusting to lock properly, tightened the screw to make the shower doors close properly, and DD2 and he fised the magnet that keeps the doors of the BBQ properly closed when not in use. You are right, the little things make life so much easier. Some of these jobs took two people, others I had no idea what the actual problem was. And I got a big hug in the process as well. I love hugs from my special people.

Razz, I was finally able to figure out how to adjust our shower door - it's been so particular since we had it installed a couple of years ago. Turned out to be very easy. I hadn't seen the screws before because I don't wear my glasses inside the shower! Once I figured it out, it was easy-peasy and now brings me much satisfaction to have the door snugly shut. Now I noticed the rod to the shower head is leaking, so that's my next bathroom project.
I've been painting kitchen cabinets. I started with the bathroom cabinets and they turned out well, so am not working in the kitchen. I got the bottom ones finished this past weekend (took me 2 weekends, because I'm old and get stiff). I'm taking Friday off for a long Labor Day weekend, so hope to get most, if not all, the uppers done. We'll see. They look so much nicer! It's not that difficult with the paint I'm using.

Bravo! Becky liz, Isn't it great to make progress? I just paid the AC guy to check and clean the AC! Called yesterday and he came this morning at 8:30. A task off my list!
It's called Heirloom Traditions Paint. It's a 3 in 1 chalk paint- binder, paint and sealer. You have to degrease and degloss first. Lots of youtube tutorials and their FB page has lots of good information and tips. If I can figure out how to upload pics, I will!Quote:

I looked it up to. I don’t know, this reminds me of the sage rage, the color that was so popular circa 1990. I had a bedroom in sage and peach and I was tired of it before it was finished. I prefer yellow greens. My living room is a lettuce/yellow green Sometimes looks chartreuse and I do like it.Quote:

Meanwhile, I’m decorating my city condo in my head. That’s the condo I don’t own! But that doesn’t stop me from decorating it. That city condo is done in a dark color with a lot of black furniture and black accents. The walls would be I don’t know something dark. Dark gray blue. Dark gray green.
