Very nice, IL, as long as you can assure us that Santa's picture doesn't hang on the wall year-round!
So cute!! I'm trying to figure out what I want to do for Christmas decor this year. (BTW, I have that exact sage Buffalo gingham print for my office curtains. I love it! I got it from Country Curtains when they were still around.)

I think it's called Mocha or something like that. People describe it as coffee with a lot of milk mixed in. A light to medium brown I guess. Sometimes it photographs almost mustard colored which it's not. No yellow tones at all so no idea why it will show up like that in some photos.Quote:

Everything but the silver is second hand with much of it from Goodwill. Because I do a tablescape design every year at our towns holiday Tablescapes fundraiser I am on a constant lookout for red and green plain dishes that can be punched up with a pattern.Quote:

We are veterans of house tours so this kind of thing doesn’t phase us, but early on in the house tour I got caught by a “talker.” For that moment I doubted my resilience for interaction with the human race. But the rest of the day went fine and three of my garden club lady friends came from St. Louis so that was nice. And then our former bulldog veterinarian who I havent seen in 15 years came through the house tour with his wife and I was shocked and so pleased to see him.Quote:
