Went grocery shopping right from work, so now don't feel like cooking. Bought some cheese and crackers, and am happy with that. (have strawberries drying on the dehydrator and ground turkey cooking to be put on tomorrow. Looks like a "food prep" weekend).

Made chicken fried rice that was awesome! Used packet of Seeds of Change quinoa and brown rice, leftover chicken, seasonings and lots of vegetables. Easy, frugal, healthy and delicious. Can’t beat that!

Something yummy we've had a couple of times recently and will add to the regular rotation: sandwiches made on fresh bakery rolls, with goat cheese and grilled eggplant and zucchini slices, with barbecue sauce from a local farm store.

SO took the summer off from bowling. Tonight is his first night back so it’s bean burrito with guacamole and homemade tomatillo sauce and peppers I got the other day from the local community college organic farm and then pickled. (I should have bought more. I’ve already eaten a third of the pint jar…. They are so delicious!). (SO hates beans so I only get to do burritos if I’m eating alone)

okay----they've kinda dropped the price on rammin' noodles, lately. but no---not as cheap as it was before the Bidet regime took over, but prices have ramped down a bit. how people survived the ramen noodle price spike crisis, i do not know. so anyway---i've stocked up on yummy rammin' noodles & stuff to put on 'em, like spagetti sause. but yeah---i still go in the groc store, and see po' fokes filling their cart---not with rammin' noodles, but boxes of frozen foods and BIG packages of MEAT. ya gotten eat LOTSA meat, 'er you'll get skinny and weak. <<that's what they believe up there in IWAH, too. Also, hot dogs, made of pork n poultry by-products have been on sale, so i buy 'em for the huskees & catts. i personally don't eat 'em. Nope. so anyway---maybe that eyesore in Herman, Zurra will be re-purposed as a meat locker, with entire animal carcasses being brought in and stored in a large cooler, and then skilled meat-cutters(butchers) will carve them up into yummy steaks, roasts, burgers, and sausage, and then customers can purchase and entire "side" so they'll get enough REAL food for REAL people ta eat, three meals a day. Yup. And cookouts, too! Hope that helps you some. Thankk mee.
