    Lovely to see that video, Jane. I tried to figure out when it was filmed but didn't succeed in finding clear evidence as the comments ranged in dates. Wonder how that lion pride is doing now?

    ETA: I checked, and lions live about as long as house cats--15 to 25 years, depending on their situation. So we can safely assume Christian is no longer with us.

    My beloved and I were walking around my neighborhood years ago and saw a cougar resting in someone's yard; we picked up the pace, and I'm still wondering about that situation...
