I thought for sure I'd get rid of more Christmas decor but when I put out everything, the only thing that didn't have a place was a small JOY sign. That was the only thing I decluttered. I guess I've finally hit my "happy spot" with Christmas decor.

That is a good place to be. The Xmas clutter does get out of hand quickly.

when we lived in the city, I had a whole storage closet for Christmas stuff. I had three regular size Christmas trees and a couple half trees. You would think I decorated like crazy every year, but I didn’t. I had this wish to be on our neighborhood Christmas house tour but I never was on tour at Christmas, we ended up being on a June tour. Christmas stuff was a gazingus pin started by my proximity to the wholesale florist stores, they are like a siren song.

While I didn’t use those Christmas decorations in my house real often, I did drag out some of them at times to decorate other peoples’ houses or businesses at Holiday house tour time.

A few years before we moved to Hermann, I slowly jettisoned all of my Christmas stuff. Now I have only two bins full of it. I have another wish to be on Hermann‘s holiday house tour. But even though I can now buy everything fresh, that would still require a certain amount of decor that is not fresh greenery.

Can finally get rid of some decanting containers because I came ro the realization that I don't like decanting things. Got rid of a Tupperware container that used to hold my dish soap and sponge. Also two glass containers that held my dishwasher pods and laundry pods. I am going back to just keeping things in their original packaging.

A pair of boots that wore out. I now have three pairs and one snow pair, so I am still OK and don't need to buy any.
