This is not my cat, but it’s a post on Substack that just tickled me so much today. I hope you all can see it.
it is a post titled “ a short story” and shows an image of one small cat print in the snow.
People are telling the story in short sentences. The first post gives this narrative “A paw touches snow, courage melts.”

okay-----participitation has fallen off precipiticiley on this thread, lately. But yeah----why cant it go on and on and on and on, like you kidses' non-stop endless Brokeback Cowpoke moo-vvveee discussion a few years ago? Ha. Wow, one of the few celebrity cats I have never followed!
We've loved Maru for ages. Jean and Jorts are also faves, as we have an orange "jorts" cat ourselves.

Maru is no “Scottish fold,” in phenotype anyway, but he is a brown tabby as Bobby requested.
okay----well, it is good to see some activity on here. Very good. And yeah---i like that cat
(see above photo). So anyway----i have several BT's, and they are faucet catts. Meaning---they like to drink water from faucets. So, just to accomodate them, i leave the faucet on a trickle, so they can drink. See?

okay----as soon as i can take a photo or two with my phone---i'll post a photo of my Eritrean shorthair(cat). She was rescued from a crisis situation, half a decade ago. What is amazing about her is her coat coloring, which seems to vary, depending on the lighting and stuff. She's a small cat, too. But yeah---i'll get a photo on here pretty soon.
