So sad to learn this...I loved the album, "Good Old Boys," particularly the cut, "Louisiana." I believe I have "Land of Dreams" at one time too. What a wonderful songwriter. Like no one else.
My therapist told me the way to achieve true inner peace is to finish what I start. So far today, I have finished two bags of M&Ms and a chocolate cake. I feel better already!
Oh, I really liked Randy Newman. In particular I like "You've Got a Friend in Me," and, being 5'2" I always got a kick out of "Short People"
ETA: Are reports of his death greatly exaggerated? I haven't been able to find anything about it online.

Turns out it was a hoax. Apparently press releases about his death go out every year around his birthday. He’s 80, but above ground.
