Ah, but YOU did. I think that's a point to JP. Not that anyone is keeping track of the score or anything. Bae, would you pass the popcorn please?
Don't know if it counts as an "emergency prep", but I'm just finishing up the processing (dehydrating) of 12 pounds of ground turkey. It will be a decent restock on the pantry shelf.

So I'm reclined in my electric powered recliner last night, when the electricity goes out suddenly. I had to climb out of my recliner and feel my way around for my phone. Once finding my phone I was able to obtain a better lite source. At about this moment my youngest son comes in from the shop. He said he was right in the middle of doing a set of squats when the lights went out. Said he struggled finding the squat rack to reposition the weight. He then was challenged to get to the door of the shop without getting hurt.
Lesson learned. I went out today and purchased 7 lights that plug into an outlet and only come on when the power goes out. I had plenty of emergency light sources in our home, but getting to them in a moment of need was
rather challenging.
We have lots of power outages here and I have learned to cook well on our woodstove top. I bought a charcoal grill for power outages in the summer but didn't bother--we get many more in winter because they don't seem to want to trim trees around here to keep them from knocking over the power lines.
People on frugality groups on FB are acting like the end of the world is coming with the possible tariff increases. Stocking up like it’s Y2K again. It’s ridiculous. Their lack of education and susceptibility to conspiracy theory crap is amazing.
