I recently finished a second watch of it, a rewatch. It’s the best limited series I’ve seen in several years.
but it had great original source material, the novel by Walter Tevis. I bought the novel back when it was first published in the early 1980’s and I didn’t buy many novels at all. I kept it for many decades and it was a first edition, first printing. I sold it a couple of years ago for a little profit on eBay when the Queen’s Gambit TV production came on.

Haven't got the time I wanted to watch movies. Sound of Freedom with Jim Caviezel. It's a powerfull picture, about the human traffic of young children.
6888 on Netflix about an all female army unit in WWII. True story and stay for the credits. Simple story but got the point across.

Look for Oprah Winfrey in a small bit part.

I got hooked on Landman. Although the characters are over the top stereotypes, there is a lot of nostalgic familiarity after having lived in TX for so many years. Oilmen, cattle ranchers, old money, new money. I don't like the way they portray women but hold my nose on those parts and watch the story unfold. As they ad campaign says, Texas - It's a Whole Other World.
We both enjoyed the Netflix series No Good Deed. Quirky with interesting twists and characters...and bonus points if you like murder mysteries and cool houses...
peaceful, easy feeling
okay-----i been sitting back in my e-z chair with a big bag o' jiffy pop, watching old Tom Mix Moo---vvveees. Yup.
I got a free trial of Apple TV last year and especially liked both the Severance and the Silo series. So now they've come out with season 2 of both and I resubscribed. I'd probably call them sci-fi, but unique and quality productions. I had read the book, "Wool" which Silo is loosely after.
I have watched the earlier seasons of All Creatures Great and Small and always anticipated the newest season, but maybe it's about run the course for my attention span and Season 5 is not as enjoyable.
