There is one car I have always despised for its design: the Corvette. I think that the Cybertruck might be #2, or it might even bump the Corvette to the #2 position.

I do like the thought that the Ford electric F150 can be used as a reasonable backup power solution for my entire home, at a huge cost savings to the system I was thinking of installing.
Toyota has said they will be bringing out a small pickup in 2025 to compete with the successful little Ford Maverick. It will be called the Stout. Probably a hybrid or EV option. Early rumors so far but apparently it would have an on board power supply of some sort. It's on my radar to replace my 12 year old Tacoma one of these days if it pans out. My Toyota has a manual shift which I assume would deter thieves since most young people don't know how to drive one.

The one Cybertruck owner I talked with raved about how it drives and rides. Maybe that makes up for the way it looks. Functionality over fashion?

I have never liked Corvettes either, especially the ones from the 70s and the 80s those look super cheap to me. I do like Corvettes from mid 1950 to mid 1960s though, I would take those oldster roadsters.

I hate the retro cars from the 2000s: the PT cruiser, the SSR, the viper. So very stupid.

reminds me, I learned yesterday that MG is making a new roadster they are distributing in Europe. It’s entirely electric. DH says I cannot get it

Alan, that is one ugly truck. I've seen several that are unwrapped, and they are ugly enough, no reason to spend more to increase the ugly, lol. I've seen pics of the new MG, and it.... looks like a car. Sad, that.

Yes, the new MG isn’t especially interesting. I would call its styling “quiet.” It looks like a Miata somewhat and somewhat like my Fiat Spyder.

I think I will save my $ for a Mercedes AMG SL,which is WAY WAY out of my price range. Now THAT is a burley car!

LOL. I thought I was the only one who thought a Corvette looked horrible!

We have a cybertruck in the area - I saw it parked in a driveway not too long ago. Ugly - in my opinion.
