A friend sent me a photo from his phone of a local dressed in what looked like black trash bags with the cardboard sign, “will work for tump”. The homeless could be getting desperate, although it’s probably just Halloween.

Seeing trump in a trump branded trash truck reminded me of Dukakis in a tank. Although I hope he’s talked to a doc about his trouble opening the garbage truck door.

okay----now you kids have started something with littlebittymee! Yup. Trump is in favor of some stuff, and finds nothing funny about the state of affairs, these days. Nope. And then of course Kamala is in favor of um, laughing like a hyena & flip-flopping on stuff. How do you like that? I win. End of Story. Now, get back in your room. What're you kids doing up so late?

I'm glad to see Trump trying out some jobs that are better suited to his abilities.

Another good reason to go to bed early. I’m old enough to remember when Colbert was funny. Now he just fawns on Democratic politicians and repeats memes on command.

This whole campaign has largely been trolling and
countertrolling. Harris tries showing up Trump as a plutocrat by talking about her hardscrabble “middle class” upbringing by a couple of Berkeley professors. Trump mocks her McDonald’s claim from a drive through window. Garbage insults result in a garbage truck stunt. Late night TV becomes a humorless wasteland. It’s all so depressing.

I see that the latest Republican talking point is that their presidential candidate thinks at least one of his political enemies should be brought before a firing squad. The sad part is Republican politicians refusing to denounce this. They really need to lose big tuesday. There’s not a decent human among the whole sad group.

oh JP, I love you. I really do. I love how predictable you are! a man we can count on.

Less than 10 minutes ago as I was riding in the car with DH he mentioned today’s anti-Trump talking point is to put Liz Cheney in front of a firing squad. Apparently that’s not exactly what Donald said, but far be it from me to look into The real quote because it’s all too stupid, but apparently it had something to do with convincing Cheney to change her mind from being a Warhawk to something else.

So Trump makes some deliberately ambiguous remarks accusing Cheney of being a chickenhawk, knowing of the freakout he will trigger on the left. They rise to the bait in predictable sputtering fashion, and fun ensues.

From what I've just read, that's actually a Democratic talking point that Republicans are denouncing because that's not what he said, meant or implied.

Try again JP. Looking forward to tomorrow's misinformation dump.
