I generally avoid online petitions because they are useless.
The issue isn't about signing the petition, but that you have to be a registered voter to sign it. So, as the legal pundits say, it's paying at least some people to register in a round about way. And that is most likely the intention of the reward and has little to do with the petition and is basically illegal but a loop-hole in it's manipulation. That's my take anyway.

People can say poor Elon is being picked on, but it's just the way the law is. I'm sure his lawyers get paid more than government prosecutors, so he's probably in the right.

to be clear, I would never say “poor Elon.”

    Depending on literal or figurative...

He might have had one too many psychedelic trips.

I've been fortunate that nobody close to me has descended into dementia. It's been interesting watching it happen to trump in such a public fashion and so rapidly. It's fascinating to hear him talk about giant Canadian faucets, how Kamala Harris will ban cows, and to see him auditioning for his next career as a bad wedding DJ for 39 minutes at one of his rallies. Even more fascinating is that people still think he's remotely acceptable as a potential president.

Speaking of acceptable candidates, I saw my first Chase Oliver campaign ad on YouTube. First one I’ve seen this cycle that didn’t make me want to bathe in hydrogen peroxide.

I'm apparently not up to speed on Canadian faucets and cow banning but I notice that you've mentioned the 39 minutes of song and dance several times now without adding necessary context. My understanding is that there were two separate medical emergencies in the audience and the rally was paused while they were being dealt with. I'm curious what you would have done in that situation.

Trump is constantly threatening, prevaricating and glowering. But what really freaks out his opposition is when he seems to be having fun.

You’re probably not up to speed on the fact that he wishes ‘his’ generals were more like hitler’s.

If the medical emergencies were so disruptive that the rally couldn’t continue then having a dance party also seems inappropriate.

No. What really freaks us out is that 40% of the voting population considers him not just remotely suitable for the presidency but absolutely the best choice.

Yeah. Don’t they realize he’ll destroy democracy forever like he did last time?
