    Winter Challenge

Hope everyone had a happy holiday season. Sorry, I took so long to post a Winter goals, life happening a bit too much right now. See the Fall 2024 post for details.

Come up with a theme for 2025
    Start cardigan
Finish at least one unfinished project
    Finish scarf

Will probably add more as I think of them. I'm expecting to spend more time caring for my parents, and probably won't plan much beyond that.

Thanks for starting this thread, Hana. I seem to feel the need to come up with some epic, amazing list, but I will go with what I have and add more later if needed.
    • Build radiator cover for bathroom radiator
    • Build radiator cover for bedroom radiator
    • Cull/shred files
    • Cull/shred Mom's files
    • Organize cellar workbench
    • Declutter front porch
    • Caulk edges of kitchen counter where it meets backsplash (they used grout along this seam, but it should really be caulked instead)
    • I also need to transition to my new phone, which I'm dreading.

    Update:
I've culled and shredded my files and Mom's files. Transitioned to new phone successfully, although kudos to DH who did most of it for me.

I have deep cleaned 4.5 rooms. More to go since I really have 6+ total.

I am not attempting to clean the parts of our house that are still under construction.
i want to get our house ready to have a regular cleaning service in the spring.

Come up with a theme for 2025 done
    Start cardigan nope
Finish at least one unfinished project done
    Finish scarf 80%
Drop off hat and scarves donation done

Decided that the theme for 2025 is Finish it, have lots of unfinished projects and need to wind up certain things. my goal is finish one thing a month. In January I finished a pair of fingerless mittens and a pair of socks.

Knitted 9ft of the scarf, have to decided how long I want it to be. twice my height at 10 ft or make it a bit longer. If I do the 10ft, then what do I do with the leftover yarn. I already knitted a hat and mittens.

    Hats and scarves happily delivered

Have some kind of block on that cardigan, I swear I just can't get myself to start.
