so everyone is playing with their kittens, their guinea pigs, and their puppies. That sounds like a good day for everyone and happy stuff that is so wonderful that you have a little pup.

okay--one mo' thing---last Saturdy nite, I went upta the intersection by booger king, and sat on the retaining wall by the nice new sidewalk, and sat-n-watched the cruisers make noise & burn rubber for 2+ hours. It was the first "cruise" of the season. I'da stayed longer, but there was a breeze and it was getting chilly. At the same time, one o' my case studies who I was acquainted with in jr hi, was keeping his wife company in Ho-woya. What a waste. Sundy, I loaded tree branches I've accumulated on a trailer, so I can dispose of them. Now, to put an exhaust pipe on my van project. Hope that helps you kids some. Edited to add: One mo' thing. The All-Wimmin School Board are spend-O-holics. No wonder my prop tax assss-sssesssment on my hillbilly shack has increased drastically. But yeah--this is their latest senseless act(see photo). The building usta belong ta the Assy o' Gods Sake, which has a church on every corner here. People were commenting: Why tear down that stately old building? Well, people don't wanna climb steps like that, these days, that's why. Nope. Anyway, they insist it's the ONLY possible site for a nice, new jr high. Ha. Attachment 6297

Springfield is such a land of strip malls. I’m surprised they have any old buildings left, but looks like they have one less. That is too bad.

I guess I'm a day late and a dollar short. I had a medical appointment in the morning, then we visited one of our favorite farm stores. It was a rare beautiful spring day, so I spent most of the afternoon working in the garden.

4 15 25 12:16 eastern time Maryland enjoying the memory of yesterday's lunch here with my sisters and friend. I even put out pretty Easter bunny placemats. Pizza and cupcakes....Deciding whether to go out and weed in the wind or tackle the indoor pile of papers. Just called the accountant and he is filing an extention...we took them in March 5.

4.15.25 12:57 ET. I'm reading Substack articles while waiting for DH. This afternoon, we will continue to set up the season's boat tour schedule and post it on the website. Yikes!

1:52 pm on Tuesday. I have been in St. Louis since Sunday afternoon for a procedure on my shoulder to break up the Adhesive Capsulitis. I had decided to use the same AirBnb we used last summer after the big surgery because it is within walking distance of the hospital and the Uber fees from IL's condo were really piling up each time and I needed to have a grocery store within walking distance.

The doctor's office had told me I could do this procedure solo so K. didn't come with me. Turns out that since they were putting me under general anesthesia they wouldn't allow me to go back to the AirBnb by myself; I had to have 24 hr. supervision. So I walked down to the hospital at 6am Monday morning, the procedure was at around 8am and I was admitted for the rest of the day and last night, which in retrospect was the right thing to do. I do feel a bit discombobulated, so much so that I left my nice long phone charger cord in the hospital room this morning and am going to have to walk back there to retrieve it.

It's nice and sunny out, albeit cool.
