Oh look what the cat drug in

It been quite awhile that i have posted. We got a new computer around Thanksgiving and our old one was wiped out. the learning curve going from my very old computer to an Apple lap top. I could not find this group on my G machine. I kept bringing up the “farewell” from the old one. I finally found the link to this one… But I forgot my password… But here I am.
My husbans retireed from the fire service after 45 years. I am a hard core introvert and having him home 24/7 was a bit worrisome concern. But all has been well his last day was the end of April. We put in a garden, had a kitty adopt us ( her name is Moo )
We also got a surprise new horse. I got a call from a friend of a friend kind of thing. Seems someone was a huge pinch and needed a home her her horse. This was in the winter. He was being kept at a place along a very busy road. He had a blanket on and it was rainy and dark. I just loaded him up and got off the side of the busy road. I was told he was between 15 and 18 years old ( no registration papers ). I got him home and took the blanket off. He was about 250 pounds underweight. and he is a very small guy ( an Arabian ) Had the vet out the next day… He is more like 28 to 35 . And had two molars just hanging on by a bit of tissue. Had those extracted and teeth floated. Took blood for lab work. long story short, he has gained his 250, He’s here to live his best life, how ever long or short that maybe.
Oh and I joined a FB page that follows The Tightwad Gazette…. I got to “see” Tradd
so much more has happened, but I will end with that

I am glad for that old horse you took in.

Hi Bossmare, good to see you back! That guy is so fortunate you took him in!
My therapist told me the way to achieve true inner peace is to finish what I start. So far today, I have finished two bags of M&Ms and a chocolate cake. I feel better already!
